プライベートで大変動がありまして、とてつもなくさびしく悲しいです。思うところあり、気持ちをあらたに日記を書いてみたくなりました。とりあえず、立ち直り日記にしたいと思っています。宜しくお願い致します。

■Microsoftをかたった偽メール（ウイルス付）：Microsoft Security Update KB256746

Microsoftをかたった偽メールが届きました。どうやら添付ファイルでのウイルス付のようです。自動実行は、たぶんしないと思うのですけれど。ESQUILIN@microsoft.comから届いているフリをしています。件名は「Microsoft Security Update KB256746」です。内容は、はやりのMydoomについての警告で、添付されたパッチファイルを適用せよというもの。Microsoftは修正パッチをメールで提供することは絶対にありません。調べるまでもなく偽メールです。間違っても添付ファイルを開いてはいけません。破壊活動であると思って間違いありません。このような詐欺メールには注意しなくてはいけません。御参考までに、メール本文の内容は以下の通りです。

Dear Subscriber!

At 3 : 33 Pacific Standard Time on Friday-January 30, 2004, Microsoft started investigating reports of a variant of a new worm called "Mydoom", known as Mydoom.A.

This worm reportedly terminates access to any websites, including some Microsoft.com websites. The virus tries to entice mail recipients into opening a message with a file attached. If the file that attached is opened, worm installs malicious program on the computer user's system and sends itself to any contacts in the user's address book.

Please download the latest patch available from Microsoft.com website or download this digitally signed attachment.

ウイルス作成する人たちの気が知れません。。。

ところでwww.senderbase.orgで調べるとattbi.com(AT&T Consumer IP Services)というところの配下のどこからかからこのメール、来たのかなぁ。hosenameを調べると、http://www.senderbase.org/search?searchString=h0010b5c23f5a.ne.client2.attbi.com ですか。この一月でマグニチュード4.4っていう評価が不思議。h0010b5c23f5a.ne.client2.attbi.com group:*abuse* のグループ検索結果 1 の中にもこのhostnameは登場しているなぁ。なんなんだろう？

ところでwww.senderbase.orgってのをググルと、以下のような話があります。

Mail gateway provider IronPort Systems has just made available its free service SenderBase (www.senderbase.org). SenderBase gathers and displays incoming mail statistics from thousands of organizations including ISPs, universities, and large companies. At the SenderBase site you can quickly look up an IP address as well as a domain, host, or organization name. The site lets you gauge how much mail is being sent out from a location and find out the full range of addresses from which that group and any affiliated organizations send mail.

というわけで、senderbase.orgとは、SPAM源（推定）のデータベースなのですね。さきほどのマグニチュードって、その勢いでしたか。すると、今回来た嫌なメールは、SPAM源と連動しているのかな？偶然かも知れないけれど。

■Mike Rowe v.s. Microsoft

Mike Rowe Official WIPO Book が　eBay のオークションで$117,400の値がついています。（2/2 2:00)という記事を発見。Mike Rowe say, "I am selling the WIPO book with the 25-page letter I received from Microsoft's lawyers on January 14/2004. "とのこと。

凄いなぁ。売るほうも買うほうも。

a要素のスタイルってやっぱり下線があるほうが個人的には落ち着くんですよね。後日、少しオリジナルのスタイルから逸脱してみましょう。今下線のついているq要素もなんとかしないと。とりあえず、はてなダイアリーで利用可能なテーマ、W2k_button の外部スタイルシートファイルから、ページ内のstyle要素に置き換えてしまいました。

うーん、importantとかすればいいのかなぁ、いや、うーむ。カスケードの仕組みが直感的にわかっていないかも。わざわざページ内のstyle要素にするなんて何か余計なことをしたような。(恥)
